Newsletter: Deepsea shipping lines near completion with Secure Chain

The deepsea shipping lines that participate in the Secure Chain are working hard to ensure that their last remaining container flows will soon also be released using the new, secure approach. Depending on the shipping line, this involves intra-European cargo, feeder cargo and/or carrier haulage. Hapag-Lloyd, which started later using Secure Container Release, is currently still catching up in terms of deepsea traffic. The entire deepsea process is expected to be completed by the end of the summer.
