Newsletter: From 3 February 2025 no more PIN codes for import containers from the Far East and Oceania

Companies that handle import containers from the Far East and Oceania are next in line for participation in the Secure Chain in the port of Rotterdam. From the 3rd of February 2025, shipping lines and ship agents will only release containers from both shipping areas securely and reliably via the new method. PIN codes, which are susceptible to fraud, will no longer be used. The connection process is currently in full swing.
